This session will show how a better understanding of need analysis leads to enhanced professional judgment (PJ) decisions and customer service. We will quickly review the Federal Methodology (FM) formula by completing a hand calculation then use a PJ case study to demonstrate how adjusting the value of one or more data elements generates a different Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
