Delivering an exceptional care experience requires an organizational commitment to cultural transformation. As one of the nation?s largest healthcare systems, the transformational journey for HCA Healthcare is complex. As an organization they chose not to introduce another initiative, but rather take the steps necessary to establish foundational principles and practices that will lead to great care experiences. The presenters will explore how they reviewed and assessed current initiatives and performance against leadership priorities to create program alignment to facilitate cultural transformation. This session will also address leadership?s approach to simplifying and clarifying their data strategy to integrate reporting best practices, utilization of existing care delivery data, and regular performance reviews. Finally, the speakers will discuss results from ongoing pilot programs and lesson learned as they begin this transformational journey.
