Emory Healthcare has transformed the employee engagement measurement process to achieve continuous ongoing measurement that integrates engagement as a strategic business objective. Through this innovative process that leverages pulse surveys, leaders at Emory have reevaluated cultural efforts to amplify focus on improvement goals for achieving engagement, resilience, Magnet designation, and employee trust. The initiative fostered a new culture in which leadership actively monitors engagement as a key metric versus a more static annual check-in.
