Improving Physician Alignment
Cleveland Clinic has trained its entire physician staff (n=4000) in relationship-centered communication (RCC) skills. This session will briefly review the organization?s program design, REDE model and key decisions. The presenters will focus on data and results, including the impact of this training on provider confidence, actual skills, attitudes, empathy, burnout and patient satisfaction. The data lends itself to a dialogue about what can and can?t be changed, the virtual future of RCC, leadership engagement and specific strategies to make the skills stick.
