In this presentation, attendees will learn how USPI created a meaningful patient experience program that improved the experience of care provided in the ambulatory surgery environment in multiple facilities and markets across the nation. The speakers will discuss the importance of defining and messaging patient experience in a way that is meaningful to all team members and improves ownership and engagement. They will also highlight successful proactive approaches to reducing patient fear and anxiety that result in compassionate care for patients and families, as well as review key behaviors aimed at improving communication and transforming the experience of patients and caregivers in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
