After struggling to move the needle on its patient experience scores, UHS embarked on a journey to develop a systemwide Rounding with Purpose program that comprises board member rounding, executive rounding, leader rounding, and direct care provider rounding and is focused on delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Thanks to an intensive partnership with Press Ganey and full executive leadership support, the initiative has resulted in top-box improvements in several key measures. This session?s presenters will explain how UHS implemented the program, and will discuss successes and lessons learned as they relate to employee engagement, High Reliability, and sustainability.
