This session is an open‐forum case consultation dealing with a broad range of anxiety issues. Attendees are invited to bring case material and general questions related to the formulation of hypnotic approaches in a variety of conditions with primary and secondary anxiety.

During and at the conclusion of this session, the attendee will be able to:
-> Describe 2 psycho‐physiological approaches for increasing a patient’s sense of mastery with their anxiety;
-> Describe 2 formulations of anxiety to their clients that increase their sense of overall physiological and psychological comfort; and
-> Employ a behavior when treating anxious patients to increase self‐comfort and clinical effectiveness.
