A presentation to help empower you to have a basic understanding of how to decode and interpret standard-of-care blood tests, such as the comprehensive metabolic panel (or CMP) or chemistry panel, the lipid panel, and the complete blood count (or CBC) with differential. Attention will also be given to the value of some additional labs such as: insulin, leptin, TSH, T4, T3, reverse T3, vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin B12, homocysteine, C-reactive protein, ESR or sed rate, magnesium, zinc and ferritin. All of the labs will be explained in relation to our nutrition and other fundamental influences on our health.
