Sauk Prairie Healthcare, an independent community-based organization in rural Wisconsin, has earned a regional reputation for providing superior care, including recognition for clinical excellence, community impact, and patient experience. After building a new hospital campus and experiencing higher volumes in the emergency department and urgent care, Sauk Prairie Healthcare?s existing model of care delivery was no longer able to meet demand. Bottlenecks caused longer lengths of stay and patient complaints.
